Grand Casino Response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

With all the discussion around COVID-19, we want to let you know that we are vigilantly implementing enhanced protocols to ensure your safety. We are closely monitoring World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control guidance regarding the virus. 

Our focus remains on ensuring incredible customer experiences while doing our part to keep you, our employees and our communities safe. Here are some extra safety measures we are implementing at both of our casino locations:

 

  • Increased deep cleaning of frequently touched surfaces, including video gaming machines, chair backs, door handles, etc. We have authorized additional shifts to ensure continual cleanliness.   

 

  • Additional hand sanitizer stations throughout the casino floor. Increased refill supplies have been commissioned and are now arriving.

 

  • Extra cleaning cycles for gaming chips and cycling of playing cards.

 

  • We are also taking steps to ensure the welfare of our employees. This includes instructing employees who feel ill to stay home and consult their healthcare providers. We are also urging all employees to be extra
    vigilant about frequent, extended hand washing.

     

  • Patron access to the casino will be limited to the following: 

    • Hotel Entrance

    • Main East Entrance

    • North Grand Event Center

    • Parking Garage

 

  • The Grand Buffet, Flame Brazillian Steakhouse, and Soto Sushi are closed until further notice.

 

  • To-go orders are encouraged at our remaining dining venues.

  • The Queensryche & Great White concert has been postponed from April 25th to the new date of Saturday, June 6th at 7pm.

If you have a hotel reservation, we look forward to seeing you and are doing everything we can to promote a safe and secure experience. If you need to change a reservation, you can do so without incurring any change fees. If you need to cancel a reservation, please know that we are waiving any cancellation fees for coronavirus-related travel bans.

What can I do to prevent Coronavirus? 

While local and global activity of COVID-19 continues to expand, everyone can follow simple steps to prevent the spread of illness: 

  • Avoid close contact with anyone who has fever and cough

  • Frequently clean your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds. You can also use alcohol-based hand sanitizer

    • Before eating anything, including snacks. ​

    • After using the restroom

    • After coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose

  • Avoid touching your face, mouth, eyes​

  • Avoid shaking hands

  • When coughing and sneezing, cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue; throw tissue away immediately and wash hands

  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces regularly (e.g. doorknobs, keyboards, phones, airplane arm rests, and tray tables)

  • A mask is NOT recommended for healthy people and should be reserved for those who are sick with symptoms of cough and fever and for healthcare workers. If used improperly, a mask can even spread the virus to healthy individuals

  • Stay home from work or school if you are sick
